Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Lisa developed a sharp wit and sense of humor that Newfoundlanders are known for. After starting a professional stand-up career on the island, she moved to Alberta, while maintaining her Newfie Princess status.
Lisa won The Comic Strip's Funniest Person with a Day Job competition in 2016, and hasn't looked back.
Lisa has been featured on CBC's LOL program as well as multiple appearances on The Debaters. She's performed in every province and territory in the country, as well as the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, YYComedy Festival in Calgary and Just For Laughs Northwest just to name a few..
Lisa is currently burning up online with over 500K on her socials and has just finished her 7th self-produced cross-country tour. She's recorded 3 live albums, "To Completion", "Super Newfie" and "Are you there God? It's me, Mildred", which are featured on SiriusXM. She has just filmed her 2nd season of the Canoe Project television series, and was both actor and writer for the second season.
Lisa is travelling all over Canada, leaving audiences in stitches with her take on living and working in Alberta, parenting, and relationships, all while rocking that Newfoundland charm that Canadians know and love.
Lisa is about to kick off her third self-produced country-wide tour.
A true businesswoman, Lisa has created not just an avid following, but has turned her hilarity into a legitimate BRAND. Her line of apparel including t-shirts, hoodies and tank tops is currently flying off the shelf. She has shipped gear throughout Canada, the US and all the way to the UK.
